The Data-Lock Reader

The Data-Lock Reader provides a customised interface to your document index. It is created automatically by the Data-Lock Compiler. The example shown on the Data-Lock Compiler page created the interface shown in the screen shots below.

The navigation around the GT-Reader appears down the left side of the window. It includes a link to the URL entered in the Company Information panel of the Data-Lock Compiler, and a link to the Adobe web site from which you can download a free copy of the Acrobat Reader.

1. Welcome
 
The opening screen shows the text entered in the Welcome Text panel of the Data-Lock Compiler.

2. Enter Password
 
The password to unlock the document index. This facility is available in the Professional and Enterprise versions of the Data-Lock Compiler.

3. Document Index
 
Once a correct password has been entered, the document index is unlocked, and remains unlocked until the Data-Lock Reader application is closed.

4. Wrong Password
 
If an incorrect password is entered, or the password has expired, contact information is displayed so the user can either obtain a valid or updated password, or can be sent an updated CD.
